Signing off...

Finally, I’m done! After my persuasive speech, I felt happy because I know that I was able to delivered my speech better than before. I was able to handle my nervousness as well as I became more confident of myself speaking in public. And in fact, most of my weaknesses during my informative speech were improved. Unfortunately, not all of them.  Since my friends noticed that I still mispronounced English words that is why sometimes they do not understand what I’m saying.

Whenever I am about to deliver my speech, I used to plan.  Because for me, planning dictates my way to being a good speaker and it is also part of being organized. Organizing things makes it easier to do things right. There’s nothing wrong in being organize, yes it takes a lot of time to prepare but it’s actually worth it. And being organized, it follows to being responsible. Conducting researches and necessary information helps my speech be more credible. It builds my confidence since I knew that what I’m saying was all proven to be true.  However, it does not end there. It is important to practice or rehearse in order for me to be familiar with the flow of my speech. It is also effective for me not to forget what will I say in front.

After all the experiences, I promise to appreciate more English articles and novel because I only love to read the Filipino ones like Bob Ong books. Also, it is one way to improve my vocabulary. On the other hand, I will try to practice speaking in English even once a day. In that way, it will enhance my communication skills and it will somehow build up my confidence. Lastly, I swear to love English. I used to get insecure to others since I knew that I only know few English words than them. Also, I am afraid to make mistakes. With that, loving English will definitely improved my lives in the near future.
